Curriculum

The Russell Byers Charter School Curriculum includes outcomes based on state and national standards as identified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).

The Curriculum utilizes best practices for instruction and assessment in all disciplines, including Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Cultural Arts (Art, Physical Education, Technology, and Music).

Russell Byers Charter School uses the NWEA MAP assessment to track student growth and students in grades 3-8 participate in the Pennsylvania State Standardize Assessment (PSSA).
