Summer Reading
SUMMER READING
2026
As we prepare for summer break, we want to ensure our students continue growing as readers, thinkers, and learners. Reading during the summer can maintain the progress they made during the school year and begin the next year ready to succeed.
This summer, all students will be expected to complete their assigned summer reading book. Grade-level reading assignments and details will be shared in May. Our goal is for students to read their assigned book as independently as possible and demonstrate a clear understanding of the story, characters, themes, and key events they have read.
