At Russell Byers, we are dedicated to ensuring every student has the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We utilize a comprehensive framework to meet the diverse needs of our learners:

Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS): MTSS is our school-wide approach to providing high-quality instruction and targeted support for all students. Through this framework, we use data to monitor student progress and provide interventions at increasing levels of intensity, ensuring that students receive the right help at the right time in both academics and behavior.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS): PBIS is a proactive approach we use to create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment. By teaching and reinforcing clear behavioral expectations, we encourage positive social skills and create a school culture where all students feel respected and ready to learn.

Special Education: For students with unique learning needs, our Special Education program provides specialized instruction and related services tailored to individual strengths and challenges. In collaboration with families, we develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure every student has access to the curriculum and can achieve their full potential.
