Special Education Teacher: 4th-7th Grade Learning and Emotional Support
Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in the Annual Review of the IEP student Case Conferences (The person in this position is not responsible for writing IEPs)
- Complete progress monitoring of IEP goals
- Collaborate with the Special Education Case Manager and General Education Teachers
- Follow reading and math research-based intervention programs
- Ensure health, safety & welfare of children
- Plan and implement educational goals and objectives in the Educational Plan for each child assigned by planning and providing instruction on developmentally appropriate activities
- Conduct formal and informal assessments for each student
- Develop educational curriculum in conjunction with the Educational Plan
- Supervise and direct classroom staff (teacher assistant and 1:1 aides)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records concerning each individual in the classroom

Pay:
$46,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
